San Antonio Water System is kicking in a little multiverse madness into the 2023 Fiesta Flambeau Parade Saturday night with its Multi-Flush of Madness float featuring elements that clog the city’s sewers caught in a giant brown vortex coming from its 20-foot tall toilet.
The 2023 Fiesta Flambeau float is a fun and educational spin on the Marvel movie. The theme was inspired by items found in the city’s sewer pipes that belong in the trash – wipes, food scraps, oils, and dairy.
The same sewer concept is featured on this year’s SAWS Fiesta medal. Proceeds from medal sales benefit Project Agua, one of several SAWS Uplift payment assistance programs. Sales of the medal have been brisk at SAWS payment centers and selling out at an online collector site.
